§ 6-23. Sales of obscene material.

(a)

Definitions. The following terms, as used in this section, shall have the meanings stated:

(1)

Sales: To sell or rent to the public for a consideration.

(2)

Obscene material: Any printed matter, visual presentation or sound recording representing terms defined in subsection 6-22(c)(1)a. through c., inclusive, and e. through g., inclusive.

(b)

Unlawful act. It is unlawful for any person to sell obscene material upon any premises or in any business establishment not otherwise licensed under this chapter if such sales constitute more than 25 percent of gross revenues in any calendar year.
