§ 92. Bond of Contractors.

The City Council may require of every party entering into a contact with the City or any of its departments or accepting any license, immunity, privilege or franchise from or under the City pursuant to any power or authority herein vested, a bond to be approved by the City Council for the full and faithful performance of such contracts or the just and lawful exercise of the powers and privileges conferred, which bonds shall be sufficient in amount to indemnify the City against any loss or damage that may be sustained by a breach of contract, or any wrong committed in the exercise of such power or privilege.
