§ 114. Appeals.
The City Attorney, unless otherwise ordered by the City Council, shall have the right to decide whether or not, in any case in which the City is a party in any court, to take an appeal from any order, judgment or determination of the court. The City Attorney shall notify the City Council of the result of all actions in which the City is a party, or in which it is interested. When from absence, sickness or other cause, the city attorney shall be unable to attend to any of his/her official duties the City Attorney may appoint someone to act in his/her place for the time being, but at his/her own expense.
